JOBS AND THE ECONOMY

To help the economy, we need to reduce government spending and peel back government over-regulation.  That is the way to help the real job creators in the private sector. – U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe

We must end the bailouts, government take-overs, and the failed stimulus.  These liberal efforts have not helped our economy, but rather have saddled our nation with massive increases in deficit spending and our debt.  Instead, we should pursue free market principles that spur economic growth through better job creation. – U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe

Senator Inhofe knows that the private sector creates jobs – not the government.  He is committed to a limited government, and has aggressively fought against out-of-control government spending.  With a high unemployment rate, American families and workers have struggled to make ends meet.  In the past few years, we have seen a massive increase in the size of government while over-regulation has negatively impacted the economy by threatening private sector job creation.

Senator Inhofe advocates for lower taxes and less government intrusion as proven means of improving the nation’s economy.  He was outspoken and sometimes alone in opposing the stimulus and the various government bailouts that failed to improve our economy.
