Legal immigration provides the opportunity for individuals from around the world to participate in the American Dream. However, we must not reward illegal behavior by providing a pathway to citizenship for individuals who entered the United States illegally, violating our laws, draining the resources of our social services and robbing opportunity from those who choose to work within the bounds of the legitimate system.
