HEALTHCARE

Medical decisions should be between the patient and their doctor – without the intrusion of a federal bureaucrat.  We must also work to ensure that rural Americans have access to quality care. – U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe

Medical decisions belong between a patient and their doctors – not a government bureaucrat.  While reforms are needed to reign in ever increasing healthcare costs, a government take-over is not the answer.  Senator Inhofe is committed to repealing and replacing President Obama’s healthcare law.  Principles of reform must improve the quality of coverage and care while reducing costs.  Any reforms that take away patient choice while giving control to the government will devastate the quality of patient care.  Additionally, federally administered programs like Medicare and Medicaid must be reformed to address costs and gaps in coverage.

Senator Inhofe is also committed to finding solutions to improving accessibility to quality care for those in rural parts of the country.

Healthcare costs continue to rise.  Instead of destroying the best healthcare system in the world, we should seek common sense options that rein in these costs without needlessly tying the hands of care givers. – U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe
